Thomas "Tom" William Johnson, passed away this past Sunday, October 23, 2011. He is now in the hands of our Heavenly Father. He made the transition from this world to the next in his home in Mountainview, CA. As a proud Marine, which was honorably discharged from service August 20, 2000, he was a lover of life, family and friends and a firm believer against bullshiznit. After his term of service in the Marine Corps, which brought him many adventures in Okinawa, Japan, he continued to share his life with his brother as an Electronics Technician in California after separation from the Marine Corps.
Tom continued his life after the military and became a cherished and beloved husband to Micole Johnson to whom he loved deeply and completely. On September 9, 2009, Thomas entered into a blessed union with Micole Renee Simpson in a beautiful ceremony in Las Vegas, NV. Tom was also lover of gaming, music, simplicity, honesty and upmost and foremost the intestinal fortitude to do what is necessary to get the job, whatever it may be, done. He believed that there are no victims, but only survivors that allow their own selves to become victims.
Thomas was the eldest son and child of Alvin "Bull" and Donita Johnson born to them on October 2, 1975. He also had a wonderful foster mother after his birth, Marsha Peterson, accompanied with her son, Darrin Peterson, to whom helped shape the wonderful being Tom was.
He is preceded in death by his father Alvin "Bull" Johnson, sister Alvina Johnson and niece Deja Sazue. He leaves behind his wife Micole Simpson-Johnson, mother Donita Johnson, sisters Elaine Johnson, Melinda Lacota, Ramona Johnson, Alvita Johnson, Julie Johnson, Kelly Johnson-Holiday; brothers Alvin J, Johnson Jr, Andrew "Dean Johnson" WL Mumford, Joel Johnson, Arlen Johnson, Kendall Johnson and Bryce Johnson.
He also leaves behind, since the age of 20, his brother in life and in arms Alex Johnson and wife Jessica, sisters Rose and Joanne Johnson and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Thomas was truly loved by many and will truly be missed from our lives but never will be forgotten. He has left us with so many touching memories and touched innumerable hearts. It is with comfort to us that in entirety he is watching us from his place beside Our Lord. Amen.
