Zeke Aldan Frank Rogers, 88, of Chamberlain, SD, peacefully  passed away at home on June 27th, 2025. He was born on  September 3, 1936, in Bijou Hills during a snowstorm, the third of  five children born to Frank and Ada (Johnson) Rogers.

Zeke had a passion for basketball during his high school years.  Known for his cat-like quickness, he was a standout player for  the Pukwana Wildcats. He once held the Corn Palace record for  most points scored in a single game, before the three point line  was introduced!

He met the love of his life, Theresa Ann Toupal, at the Silver Oaks  Café, where she worked as a waitress. Zeke came in every day,  whether for lunch or just a cup of coffee, simply to see her. They  married on August 3, 1961, and spent 64 years together, building  a life full of love, strength, and unwavering commitment.  Together, they raised three children: Lori, Tom, and Barb.

Zeke worked a variety of jobs over the years and was known for  his sharp mind and incredible work ethic. He didn't learn his  trade in a classroom, he taught himself through hard work,  hands-on experience, and trial and error. He became a true  craftsman, and his handiwork can be found throughout the  community and neighboring counties.

He loved being outdoors and while he enjoyed hunting in  general, goose hunting was by far his favorite along with  spending time with family and friends.

Zeke's legacy lives on in his wife, Tracy; his children, Lori Douville  (Bobby), Tom Rogers (Kim), and Barb Blasius (Derek); his  grandchildren, Lindsey Schwartz (Andy), Estan Douville, Kala  Krump (Tyler), Carley Douville, and Josh Rogers (Develyn); and  his great-grandchildren, Otto Schwartz and Emersyn Krump. He  is also survived by his brother Charlie Rogers and a special niece, Connie Priebe (Todd).

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ada Rogers;  his brothers, Buford and Harold; and his sister, Darlene.
