Willa began her journey on June 23, 2020 at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD with family by her side.
Willa was born to William & Bertha (Eagle Thunder) Fire Cloud and joined older sisters Ruth and Wilma. She attended grade school in Lower Brule, SD and graduated from Stephan High School, Stephan, SD; where she meet many friends some of whom she remained close with through adulthood. After high school, Willa attended United Tribes Technical Community College in Bismarck, ND (UTTCC), where Willa received her Clerical Degree. Willa then attended Haskell Indian Nations University, Lawrence, KS where she received Accounting Degree. Willa returned to Lower Brule and later attended Lower Brule Community College receiving her A.A. in Human Services and A.A. in Fine Arts.
Willa was united in marriage to Kenneth K. Madison; to this union January Jo Madison was born on January 26, Willa made her home in Lower Brule, SD and worked at various jobs. Willa was a caring person and liked spending time with her "Grands", although she did not have any of her own. She loved visiting with friends. She liked playing slot machines and enjoyed her beers.
Willa is survived by her ex-husband Kenneth, special friend Ritchie Medicine Eagle, her sisters Wilma M. Wilson and Cyrhina Fire Cloud, Aunt Irene Skunk and many nieces, nephews, grands, and great-grands.
Willa is preceeded in death by her parents: William and Bertha Fire Cloud, her only child January Jo Madison, sisters Ruth Flute, Ruby Jandreau, Jessie Mae Fire Cloud-Johnson.
