Virginia Feltman, 90, of Chamberlain passed away on February 15, 2021.

Private family graveside services will be at a later date.

Virginia Feltman was born on her grandparents' farm in Lyman County, June 13, 1930 to Harold and Ester (Melton) Hodgin. She lived on that farm until she was five and a half years old when they moved to Oacoma, SD. Virginia was seven when her parents divorced. She spent the rest of her childhood near her father until he was deployed during WWII.

Virginia lived with her grandparents in Pasadena, California and then came back to South Dakota in 1945. Virginia graduated from Chamberlain High School in 1947.

Virginia married the love of her live, LaRoy Feltman, on December 25, 1949. They lived on a farm south of Chamberlain until her husband's death on April 30, 2013. From this union three sons were born, Thomas, Daniel, and Rodney.

Virginia is survived by her sons Tom Feltman of Lennox, Dan (Cindy) Feltman of Chamberlain, and Rod (Ann) Feltman of DeSmet, SD, six grandchildren Jeannie (Dave) Wright of Lennox, Carol (Ryan) Buckneberg of Worthington, SD, Pam (John) Koch of Holland, MI, Travis (Jennifer) Feltman of Puyallup, WA, Lacee (Travis) Blankenbeckler of Mission Hill, SD, Kelsey (Luke) Smith of Lake Preston, SD, 10 great- grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Preceding her in death are her husband LaRoy Feltman, parents Harold and Ester, daughter-in-law Karla Feltman, and her great-grandson Dillion Jansen.
