Private family funeral services for Violet Mae Dominiack, 76, of Chamberlain, SD were held at the Hickey Funeral Chapel in Chamberlain with burial in the Riverview Cemetery at Chamberlain.

Violet Dominiack, 76, of Chamberlain, SD passed away on October 11, 2024 at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD.

Violet Mae Jensen was born August 11, 1948 at Tyler, MN to Jens and Gladys Campbell Jensen.

She attended country school at Dist. 46 Brookings County, SD.  She attended Elkton Public School and went to Vocational School in Minneapolis, MN where she received her GED degree and then moved to Pipestone, MN, Slayton, MN, and eventually to South Dakota where she met the love of her life, Terry.  Violet enjoyed playing cards and bowling.

She is survived by her four children – Pauline Jensen, Lisa (Michael) Davisson, Chad Oldewurtel, and Crystal (Steve) Schultz, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her siblings Doris Larson, Marlys Slocum, and Joyce Carstensen.

She is proceeded in death by her siblings Gordon Jensen, George Jensen, Leroy Jensen, and Carol Styf.
