Funeral services for Vincent J. Brown, 30, of Fort Thompson, SD will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Thompson with burial in the Lakeview Cemetery at Fort Thompson, SD.  Wake services will be 7:00 p.m., Sunday and Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Thompson, SD.

Vincent James Brown passed away on January 12, 2024 at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD at the age of 30 years.

Vincent was born September 6, 1993 to Serina Blaine and Martin Brown at Pierre, SD.  He was raised in the Fort Thompson area and attended Crow Creek Tribal Schools.  He liked to dance and make people laugh.  He always made people smile and had a good sense of humor.  He loved being around his family and friends.

On March 3, 2020, Vinny was united in marriage to Tylie Sazue.  He was a good husband and proud father to Caryn Fredericks and J'Lee Sazue-His Law.

Gratefully sharing his life are his wife Tylie Sazue-Brown of Fort Thompson, his father Martin Brown of WA; his daughters Caryn Fredericks of Mitchell and J'Lee of Fort Thompson; his sister Harriett Ross and brother Chance Blaine both of Fort Thompson; and many other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were his Serina Ross; grandmother Barbara Blaine; auntie Suzi Blaine; uncles Nelson Blaine III and Barnabas Blaine.
