Obituary

Funeral services for Todd Loudner, 57, of Pukwana, SD will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday August 15, 2026 at the Crow Creek Green Building in Crow Creek, SD with burial in All Nations Cemetery. Wake services will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 13th and Friday, August 14th at Crow Creek Green Building in Crow Creek. Anyone wishing to follow, the procession will leave the Funeral Home at 3:00 Thursday.

Todd Bradley Loudner, Sr. (57 years old) was born April 12, 1969 to Beatrice Fleury/Whiting and Emery Loudner. Todd spent most of his growing up years in Crow Creek, SD with family and friends. He attended St. Joseph Indian Boarding School in Chamberlain, SD, he also attended Chamberlain High School for a short period of time and transferred to Crow Creek Tribal High School, where he graduated with the Class of 1988. While attending Crow Creek High School, he met his children’s mother (Carla J. Big Eagle) in June of 1985 From this relationship he had 5 children, Tyrell Bernell, Tylynn Beatrice, Tylecia Brooke, Tynice Belair, and Todd Bradley Loundner, Jr. After graduation Todd started work for the Crow Creek Headstart as a teacher/bus driver for 4 years, then in 1992 he started work for the Summer Youth Program as a boss for the summer youth workers. From then on he became unemployed, he stayed home with his kids. He was a wonderful father throughout the 23 years, Todd and Carla never engaged in marriage. He then got a job with St. Joseph Indian School in Chamberlain, SD as a carpenter for 12 years. Todd enjoyed doing many things throughout his life. He liked fishing, hunting and traveling. He was always there to help people, no matter the situation. He loved taking his kids fishing on the Missouri River on his own lundoon. He was an outdoor person and loved walleyes. Everyone that knew Todd knew he was a good father and awesome friend.

Todd passed away on August 8, 2026 at the Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. He is survived by his 6 children, Tyrell, Tylynn, Tylecia, Tynice, Todd Jr., and Wade Archambault. His “baby mama” Carla Big Eagle, his 3 sisters, LaVoyce Loudner, Dawn Whiting, and Christina Seeking Land, his 4 brothers, Royce Loudner, Seth Whiting, Merle Seeking Land, and Gregory Seeking Land, and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Proceeding him in death are his parents, Emery Loudner and Beatrice Fleury/Whiting, 1 grandson, Kiets Antelope, mother-in-law Regina Big Eagle, stepfather Seth Whiting, brother Keith Fleury, and his sister, Leatha Loudner
