Timothy James Marshall was born to Nancy K. Sazue-Miller and Robert Marshall Sr. on March 21, 1968 in Chamberlain, SD.
Tim grew up in Fort Thompson, Rosebud, Madison and Flandreau, SD with his mother Nancy and step father Harold (Curly) Miller, sisters Charlotte, Roseanna, and Pam, brother Brian, Steven, Dean, Lyle, and Robert. 1
Tim attended school in Fort Thompson, St. Joe's Indian School and Pierre Indian Learning Center.
Tim loved doing arts and crafts, casino, bingo, cooking, cook-outs, family gatherings, going to Rosebud during summers and holidays spending time with grandma June and Uncle Harley. He enjoyed going to basketball and baseball games, watching families play especially his uncles, Brent and Harley, Jerry and Joe Sr.
On his spare time he would make beadwork crafts, frybread, and skillet rounds. Tim was very kind hearted. Always helping someone in need when he could.
Tim worked as a cook for the Lode Star Casino, Shelby's and Golden Buffalo Casino. He also worked for Lower Brule Counseling and Lower Brule Community Center.
Tim met Lucille "Sud'z" Skunk on July 24, 1990 and were married February 11, 1998. He helped raise grandchildren Jaimee Estes, Tayshawn Battese, Hillary Goodlow until his health conditions.
Tim is survived by his wife Lucille "Sud'z" Skunk of Lower Brule; his mother Nancy of Fort Thompson; sisters Charlotte Gonzales and Roseanna Langdeau of Fort Thompson, Bobbie Anne Marshall of Mission, Denise Marshall of Gregory; brothers Brian Harrison of Fort Thompson, Grey Jones of Rapid City, Robert Marshall Jr. and Waylon Marshall of Mission, Dean Miller and Lyle Miller Sr. of Mitchell, Robert Miller of Lake Andes; step children Joelle Battese, June Battese, Camille Battese, Philip Battese, and Vincent Battese; special uncles Brent, Joe Sr., and Tracy Sazue; and godmother Sandra Swift Eagle.
Preceding him in death were his father Robert Marshall Sr., stepfather Harold "Curly" Miller, grandparents June Lambert Sazue, William Bill Sazue Sr., uncles Harley Sazue Sr., William Bill Sazue Sr., little brother Steven Charles Miller, sister Pamela Miller, nephews Jared Jordan Marshall, Raymond Cole Gonzales III, stepdaughters Marinda Garcis-Huix, Rayona Battese, and special uncle Clifford "Cliff" Marshall.
