Terry Lee Jandreau was born on November 11, 1955 to Dorothy Belva Langdeau Jandreau Jones and Leo Burdette "Tete"  Jandreau in Elgin, North Dakota, Terry was the fifth of eight children.  Terry was also blessed with David T. Jones as his father, whom he adored.

Terry attended school in Lincoln, Nebraska and from there went on to Kicking Horse Job Corp in Ronan, Montana.  Upon his completion at Job Corp., he made his home in Lower Brule where he lived with Charlotte Flute.  Through this relationship, his daughter Teresa Colette "Stinky" Jandreau was born.  Terry later had a son Trevor Obede Thomas Fire Cloud.

Terry worked many jobs throughout his life including construction, support staff for the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe, as a race horse groomer, a security guard for the Golden Buffalo Casino and he began his job as part of the custodial staff for the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe on October 1, 1993, where he was working until the time of his death.

Terry had a passion and love for horses and dogs.  He had many pets whom he cared for and loved throughout his life.  Terry had a love for the Green Bay Packers, the New York Yankees, Nebraska Cornhuskers and The Lower Brule Sioux.  You could always find him whooping and hollering for his teams.  He enjoyed rodeo, WWE wrestling, cooking shows, the outdoors, camping, fishing, bon fires and cookouts with family, he loved to visit and enjoy a good meal.  Terry was full of stories!  He had a way about him and he was always right, no matter what, you couldn't argue with Pops!  He was known as Papa to everyone, including his co-workers with whom he had a great relationship.  Papa was a friend to everyone, a kind and gentle soul who loved his family "So Much"!!  His wet kisses and big bear hugs will forever be missed by all of us.  He left us suddenly, with no time to say good-bye, a part of all of us went with him and he left a lot of awesome memories.  One thing is for sure, there will never be another "Papa".

Terry is survived by his siblings Barbara Evans, Jan Brouse (Jim), Vance Jandreau and Karen Jones, aunts Gwyn Erlandson and Laurel Hopper, daughter Teresa Jandreau (Luke Merrick) and son Trevor Fire Cloud, grand daughters Dimitry Jandreau (Charles Steuck Jr.), Kiandra Merrick (Garrett White Light), Skyler Merrick and Kacey Jandreau, and great grand daughter Kyleena (Kiandra and Garrett).  Terry would have welcomed another great grand daughter Abigail Lee Allen Jandreau-Stueck (Dimitry and Charles) in the coming weeks.  He is also survived by special nephew and niece Jerome "Pig Rider" and Keri Jandreau and special grand children Molly Pluckett, who was Papa's basement buddy and Mason Dixon Line, as Papa always called him, whom he lived with for the past 16 years.
