Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 20, 2022 at the Fort Thompson Community Building in Fort Thompson, SD with burial in the Christ Episcopal Cemetery at Fort Thompson, SD.  Wake services will be 7:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the Fort Thompson Community Building in Fort Thompson.

Tammy Lynn Johnson was born December 12, 1967 to Alice Louise Johnson and Thomas Ross at the Bailey Hospital in Chamberlain, SD.  Tammy attended head start and elementary in Fort Thompson, SD, and also attended St. Joseph's Indian School from 1979-1981.  Tammy moved to Sioux Falls, SD 22 years ago.

Tammy passed away on May 12, 2022.  She is survived by her five children Kristopher Johnson, Lynnea Grey Owl, Douglas Grey Owl Jr., Anna Grey Owl, and JT McGhee.

Preceding her in death were her parents Alice Johnson and Thomas Ross, her maternal grandparents Silas Johnson Sr. and Isabel Medicine Crow Johnson, her aunts & uncles Silas Johnson Jr. (Jay) Johnson, William Ernest Johnson Sr., Alvina Johnson Slow, June Johnson Drapeau, Annette White Mouse Johnson, and Karen Kirkie Johnson.
