Funeral services for Sylvia Moore, 86, of Wagner, SD will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Thompson, SD with burial in the Presbyterian Cemetery at Crow Creek, SD.  Wake services will be 7:00 p.m., Friday at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Thompson, SD.

Anyone wishing to follow, the procession will leave at 3:00 p.m. on Friday from the funeral home.

Sylvia Iris Moore, 86, died at 7:53 a.m. Friday at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, SD.

Sylvia was born September 1, 1938 in Buffalo County to Lillian Lamonte and Isaac Crowe.

She was a retired VA nurse that lived in many places including Colorado before finally settling in Wagner, SD.

Gratefully sharing her life are her son Austin Moore, two grandchildren Christopher and Mikayla Tafoya and three great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, a son, daughter, grandson, granddaughter, two brothers, and a sister.
