During her younger years she worked for NYC, CHR, CHR Director, bookkeeper for the tribe, bookkeeper for Title I, bookkeeper of Red Horse Lodge, Lode Star Casino, and IHS as appointment desk clerk and office assistant for housing. She loved her kids, grandkids, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, cousin, aunts, uncles, grandmas, grandpas, adopted family, all other family members, SMS sisters, and friends with all her heart and soul. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she would teach them how to pray and praise the Lord. She loved playing bingo, bowling, and attending church to hear God's word and helping those that were in need. She loved sharing God's love as she would buy flowers every month and give to elders or those that were sickly. Attached to the flower was the sinner's prayer for those that needed help praying.
On September 12, 1975, she was united in marriage to Nathan Jerome His Law and to this marriage four children were born: Jeris Jerome, Natalie Joyce, Jeremy Allen, Nicole Joy. She raised Sandy L. His Law, Benjamin LaSalle Brown and Micah Brown as her own and she spent time with step son Nathan Duane His Law. She took Joan Thoreson (Rita Archambeau) and her daughter's Kim in to live her and treated them like her own family and Cheyenne when she was born. She claimed Robert His Law, Alicia Gonzales, and Selena Sandra Kaye as her children too. Melody His Law lived with her during the time that she attended school in Aberdeen.
She leaves behind her children: Jeris "JJ", Natalie "Sis", Jeremy, Nicole "Deedee", LaSalle, Micah, Lil Sandy and Rita Bones and her grandchildren; Brian, Iver Naleena Taylor, Tyler, Jaylene, Nateela, Baby Jerm, Nataye, Dallas, Jerison, Delondra, and Lynlie His Law, Eden Royale Beauty Brown, Essence Catalina Bliss Brown, Kimmie and Cheyenne; three great granddaughter Kahlani Faye Rose who is deceased, Janiaesia Ameria Drayli, Jio'Vonna La'Raye; one great grand son Kyson Wayne His Law; her sisters Melvina "Toto" Wilkerson, Dorothy "Dottie" Arpan, Mary Hawk, Carole Chapman, Norma "Nupa" Gonzales, and Connie Thompson; brother Melvin Jr., Frances "Bud", Harold, Norman, and Barry Thompson; one uncle still alive Donald Loudner.
