Samuel Gregory Flute, Jr. was born on May 3, 1974 to Samuel Gregory Flute, Sr. and Jewel Goodlow in Chamberlain, SD. He grew up in Sioux Falls at Barb Kellogg Specialty Home for disabilities until he was school age. He then attended the Cripple Children's Hospital and School until the 6th grade. DakotAbilities Alternative Services assisted in his transition later as he got older, when Sam was able to work and have his own apartment.
He later moved to the Valley Home, part of DakotAbilities, as his health issues needed more care. He was still able to cruise around Sioux Falls in his electric wheelchair once staff got him up and ready for the day. Sam was able to go visit friends, attend church, which was the important part of his day. His love for Jesus was the Highlight of his Life. Sam's life was a testimony of God making the way for him to share the Gospel, to people in Sioux Falls wherever his wheelchair would go.
Welcoming him home on October 9, 2025, was his brother Lawrence Flute, Baby Brother Flute, and Nephew King Blacksmith, his grandparents Mary & Lawrence Goodlow, Shirley & Floyd Flute Sr., Uncle Charles Goodlow, and Aunt Marilyn Goodlow.
Surviving him are his son, Adrian Roubideaux, grandson Krew Roubideaux, siblings Lance Corey Flute, Kyle P.S. Flute, Sonya Ziegler, Loretta Flute, Christina Yates, his mom and dad Jewel & Larry Jandreau, his dad Samuel Gregory Flute, Sr., many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
