Funeral services for Royce Kirkie will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 29, 2021 at the Fort Thompson Community Center in Fort Thompson, SD. Burial will follow at the Episcopal Cemetery in Fort Thompson, SD. Wake services will be 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2021 and Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at the Fort Thompson Community Center in Fort Thompson, SD.

Royce L. Kirkie, 44, of Fort Thompson, was born on July 8, 1977 to Karen Doreen Johnson-Kirkie and Leon Kirkie Sr. in Chamberlain, SD. Royce journeyed to the Spirit World on July 23, 2021.

Royce "Pork" leaves behind four children Hayley Kirkie, Heavenly, Kasandra, and Abel all of Fort Thompson, SD; three sisters Marvel Dion, Deah Dion, and Jody Kirkie; six brothers Richard Dion Jr., Stuart Dion, Craig Kirkie, Myron Kirkie, Monte Kirkie, Willard Kirkie all of Fort Thompson, SD.

Pork enjoyed being with his family and friends. He was a fan of the Minnesota Vikings football team.

Preceding him in death are his parents Karen Johnson-Kirkie and Leon Kirkie Sr., two sisters Sandy Johnson Fredricks and Kendra Kirkie, and brother Leon Kirkie Jr.

Royce "Pork" will be missed by all the family he leaves behind and will be greatly missed by his children.
