Funeral services for Roxanne K. Houska, 58, of Pukwana, SD will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 31, 2022 at the Hickey Funeral Chapel in Chamberlain with burial in the Riverview Cemetery at Chamberlain.  Visitation will begin Sunday at 5:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at the Hickey Funeral Chapel in Chamberlain, SD.

Roxanne Houska, age 58, of rural Pukwana, South Dakota, died on Tuesday, October 25th, 2022 at her home.

Roxanne Kay Houska was born Dec. 4th, 1963, at Mitchell, South Dakota.  Roxanne attended Chamberlain High School and worked various jobs in Chamberlain  after that.  The last job she worked for the past ten years was at Chamberlain Food Center.  She loved working with all the employees there and also visiting with all her customers.

Roxanne loved animals, especially all of her cats.  She always took wonderful care of them.  She also loved growing flowers in the yard.

Grateful for having shared her life are her sister Carmen Huffman (Tim) of Kadoka, South Dakota, her brother Kevin Houska (Paulette) of rural Pukwana, South Dakota, her nephews Curtis Huffman(Casey) and sons Corbin and Camdyn of Webster, South Dakota, Keith Huffman (Lindsay) and daughters Ariella and Abbi of Rapid City, South Dakota, Brandon Houska (Rebecca) of rural Chamberlain, Jared Houska, Mitchell, South Dakota, and Trevor Houska of Oacoma, South Dakota, and also a very special friend, Wyane Wingert of Kimball, South Dakota.

Preceding Roxanne's death were her parents, Buddy and Dorothy Houska of rural Pukwana, South Dakota.
