Felicia, 54, of Lower Brule, SD will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 19, 2022 at the Lower Brule Community Center in Lower Brule with burial in the Messiah Episcopal Cemetery at Iron Nation, SD. Wake services will be 7:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday at the Lower Brule Community Center at Lower Brule, SD.

Roland Kenneth Felicia was born June 18, 1968 to Kenneth Pierce Felicia and Maria Ann (Crazy Bull) in Chamberlain, SD.
He attended Lower Brule Day School, St. Joseph's Indian School, Chamberlain, SD, Marty Indian School, Marty, SD and obtained his high school diploma from Boxelder Job Corps, Nemo, SD were he also received certification in Painting.
He is survived by his wife, Shawnna (LaRoche), son, Hunter Pierce Felicia (Shannon) of Pueblo, CO, stepson, Marlowe LaRoche of Stephan, SD, and siblings; David George Pretty Sounding Flute (Anita) of Lower Brule, SD, Amelia Felicia of Chamberlain, Teresa Estes of North Pole, AK, Rolanda Felicia, Fairbanks, AK, Kenna Felicia of Lower Brule, SD, George Patterson of Pierre, SD, Celia Johnson of Chamberlain, SD, Wilhelmena Patterson of Fort Thompson, SD, Corwin Patterson of Lower Brule, SD and his special 4-legged companion "Lucky".

Roland's memorable career employment started at the age of 14 where he drove tractors for the Lower Brule Sioux Tribal Farm Corporation, continuing throughout the years was with John Morrell & Company meat plant, Sioux Falls, SD and over 20 years with the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe, Motor Pool.
He enjoyed mechanical work on vehicles and lawn care equipment along with entering competition mud running & demolition derby with his own vehicles, cooking and fishing. Roland has shared many photos of morning sunrises and evening sunsets along with greetings and well wishes on social media.
Roland is reunited in death with his parents (Kenneth and Maria) and step-dad Wilmer E. Patterson, Sr., sister Lakota Ann aka Patricia Gott, brother Wilmer Patterson, Jr., maternal grandparents Gilbert Crazy Bull and Cora Bad Horse, paternal grandparents Amelia Helen LaRoche and Pierce Felicia, special Grandma Mabel DeSheuquette, Grandma Lillian Iron Nest and all his other family that left too soon. We take comfort in knowing he is now in heaven embracing our loved ones who have gone before us.
Roland has left behind many extended family members, friends and loved ones, included close friends in the communities of Lower Brule & Fort Thompson.
