Funeral services for Richard Fleury, of Fort Thompson, will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Thompson, SD. Burial will follow at the Presbyterian Cemetery in Crow Creek, SD. Wake services will be 7:00 p.m. Monday, May 24, 2021 and 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 24. 2021 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Thompson, SD.

Richard Gary Fleury was born on June 29, 1952 in Chamberlain to Martha Elizabeth Fleury and Dewey Crow.

He attended school at Crow Creek High School and graduated.  He went to Lawrence, KS where he met his 1 ^st wife in 1970, Fernanda High Bull, and they were married which three children were born Gary Leo, Craig Leon, and Davene Rose.  They were married for ten years before separating.

Richard graduated and went on to meet his 2 ^nd wife Theresa Wind which five kids were born Conrad, Martina, Preston, Lindsey, and Talisa.

He was a very good man!  He was strong hearted man always willing to help anyone.  He loved his friends, family, and kids.  He loved to fight also. He worked various jobs in South Dakota such as the ambulance service.  He enjoyed joking around with everyone.

Richard Fleury journeyed at home in Fort Thompson, SD on May 18, 2021 at the age of 68. He leaves behind his kids Gary, Craig, Davene; Buffy, Preston, Talisa, and Conrad; and his many grandkids.

Richard is preceded in death by his mother Martha; sister Tina; daughter Martina; son Lindsey; and many aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
