Funeral services for Rianne F. Blaine, 21, of Lower Brule, SD will be 11:00 am Friday, July 3, 2020 at the Lower Brule Community Center in Lower Brule, SD with burial in the Messiah Episcopal Cemetery at Iron Nation, SD.  Wake services will be Wednesday and Thursday evening at 7:00 pm at the Lower Brule Community Center in Lower Brule.

Rianne Faith Blaine was born July 11, 1998 to Robert Blaine and Alvina Johnson at Chamberlain, SD.  She attended grade school at Lower Brule and high school at Rapid City Stevens.  After high school, Rianne returned to the Lower Brule area where she made her home.

She loved to play volleyball, go swimming, and also fishing.  She really enjoyed babysitting for her little cousins that she treated as her own.

Rianne passed away June 26, 2020 at Sanford Medical Center in Chamberlain, SD at the age of 21 years.  Gratefully sharing her life are her father Robert F. Blaine; her foster mom and dad Frances Mary Thompson and Deitrich Thompson; adopted mom Ramona Johnson; two sisters Krista Blaine and Meredith Blaine; two brothers Mamut Blaine and Sebastion Blaine; grandmother Donita Johnson; aunts & uncles Elaine Olsen, Melinda Lacota, Julie Johnson, Alvita Johnson, Arlen (Sophia Yellowboy) Johnson, Kendall (Judy LaRoche) Johnson Sr., Kelly Holiday, and Bryce Johnson; cousins Cory and Dylan Castaway, Malcolm Andrews, Lakita Andrews, Mallory Sazue, Mya Sazue, Arnold Gene Sazue III, Jacob, Danielle and Micah Lacota, Kyle Johnson, Ezra and Eliza Johnson, Kendall Johnson Jr., Rylin Holiday Jr., Adara Holiday, Kyren Johnson, Taitum and Teagan Johnson; and many other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were her mother Alvina June Johnson, grandfather Alvin Johnson Sr., brother Nathan Edward Johnson, uncle Thomas Johnson, two cousins Deja Jolie Sazue and Bethany Lorraine Lacota.
