Her words of encouragement to those struggling in life was, "Love yourself first, then God and work hard for the good things in life."  Rena was a great example of overcoming physical, emotional and spiritual challenges in life, praying to God to help others heal their minds and hearts.   Rena traveled many places where she resided in Pierre SD, Wagner SD, Mitchell SD, Bismarck ND, Lawrence KS, Orem UT, Phoenix AZ and the City of North Pole AK.  During her vacations, she visited relatives in many states and enjoyed camping in the Black Hills.   A huge fan of Green Bay Packers, she cheered with family and friends.  Go Green and Gold! Often Rena gave words of inspiration, to sum up many of her quotes, "Life is hard, but you're strong as you want to be.  Climb that mountain of troubles and see the beautiful life God created for you."
