No services will be held for Raymond C. Kiehn, 76, of Kennebec, SD.

Raymond Charles Kiehn was born December 31, 1945 in Brule County to Herbert and Adda (Merrihew) Kiehn.  In 1947, at the age of two, Raymond moved with his family to Kennebec.  He attended school at the North Dorman Country School north of Kennebec and the West Dorman Country School where he graduated from the eighth grade.  Raymond helped his father and brother Robert farm and ranch until his father's retirement.   Around 1961, with his brother Robert, they started a trucking business.  In October of 1964, Raymond enlisted in the U.S. Army and served until his Honorable Discharge in April of 1965.  Raymond spent his entire life on the family farm.

Raymond loved all animals and enjoyed working on the farm.  He especially enjoyed his cat, Daisy.  He did not have many hobbies except for working.

Raymond passed away on November 25, 2022 at home at the age of 76 years.  Survivors include two sisters Loretta and Lorraine Kiehn of Kennebec, and many cousins.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his brother Robert, and several aunts and uncles.
