Obituary

Funeral services for Raymond C. Gonzales, III, 28, of Fort Thompson, SD will 10:00 am Thursday, June 18, 2020 at the Gonzales Residence in Fort Thompson with burial in the Christ Episcopal Cemetery at Fort Thompson.  Wake services will be private family only on Tuesday and public wake on Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm at the Gonzales Residence in Fort Thompson.

Raymond Cole Gonzales, III was born July 7, 1991 to Raymond and Charlotte (Marshall) Gonzales.  He attended grade school and high school at Crow Creek Schools.  His first job was at Lynn's in Fort Thompson then worked as a fire fighter, wildlife conservation officer, at First Dakota, as a cook in Billings, MT, and finally as a heavy equipment operator.  He loved working on cars and motorcycles but basically enjoyed fixing anything.  He loved demolition derbies.

He was raised catholic and served as an Altar Server along with his older brother.

Raymond passed away on June 11, 2020 at Fort Thompson, SD.  Gratefully sharing his life are his parents Raymond and Charlotte Gonzales; three daughters Marilyn Harmon, Charlotte Gonzales, and Rosemary Harmon; two sons Ramon Gonzales and J. Keith Goodlow; two brothers Terence and Steven Gonzales; three sisters Monicia Gonzales, Donika Gonzales, and June Marshall; and many other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents Margaret and Ray Gonzales, Grandma Nelda; Tall Bill and June Sazue, Aunt Allie Gonzales and Richard Gonzales, Uncle Darrell Lambie; brother Jerred Jordan; nephew Jeremy Duane Mesdes; grandfathers Curly Miller, Robert Marshall, and Steve Miller.
