Per her request, there will be no services for Phyllis M. Killen, 90, of Chamberlain, SD.

Phyllis passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Sanford Care Center in Chamberlain.

Phyllis M. was born June 17, 1932 to Arthur and Cecilia (Sorensen) Dahlke at Oakes, ND.  She attended grade school at Oakes, ND and graduated from Mobridge High School in Mobridge, SD.  On September 5, 1953, Phyllis was united in marriage to Arnold Lowary in Aberdeen, SD and to this union six children were born Tom, Cindy, Diane, Steve, Karen, and LeRoy.

In June of 2003, she was united in marriage to Bob Killen at Grand Junction, CO.  Phyllis moved to Chamberlain in 2015 where she made her home until the time of her passing.

She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, reading, and watching TV.

Gratefully sharing her life are her loving family: children Tom (Cindi) of Grand Rapids, MI, Cindy (Scott) Walker of Chamberlain, SD, Diane Anderson of Aurora, SD, Steve of Seattle, WA, Karen (Luke Evans) Lampe of Cuba City, WI, and LeRoy (Diane) of Grand Junction, CO; a sister Maxine; 17 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren with two great grandchildren on the way, and one great great grandchild.

Preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers, a sister, a grandson, and a great grandson.
