Funeral services for Paul A. Streitz, 74, of Kennebec, will be Saturday, July 28, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Kennebec, SD. Visitation will beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, July 27 at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Kennebec with a rosary and prayer service at 7:00 p.m.

Paul A. Streitz was born on May 24, 1933 at Sentinel Butte, ND to Joseph and Evangeline (Latterell) Streitz. He attended grade school and high school at Sentinel Butte, ND. Paul enlisted in the U.S. Army on November 3, 1953 and was Honorably Discharge on October 19, 1955. On July 15, 1960, Paul was united in marriage at Billings, MT to Anna Mae Mogle and to this union 2 children were born, Dennis and Royalee. In 1961, Paul and Anna Mae moved to Kennebec where Paul was employed with the Farmer's Co-op Elevator until retiring after more than 40 years. He enjoyed woodworking.

Paul passed away on July 24, 2007 at Sanford Mid Dakota Medical Center in Chamberlain at the age of 74 years. Gratefully sharing in his life are his wife Anna Mae of Kennebec, SD; his son Dennis and wife Margie of Gordon, NE; his daughter Royalee Metz and husband Jeff of Kennebec, SD; three brothers Joe and wife Sig of Dickinson, ND, Frank and wife Marti of Kirbyville, MO, and Lawrence and wife Lorre of Mendham, NJ; five sisters Marie Robertson and husband Delmar of Dickinson, ND, Irene Lange of Dickinson, ND, Millie Dietz and husband Edward of Sentinel Butte, ND, Teresa Christianson and husband Dave of Townsend, MT, and Lorraine Boyd and husband Mike of Billings, MT; his mother Evangeline Streitz of Dickinson, ND; and five grandchildren Misty Cwach and husband Kendall of Sioux Falls, SD, C.J. Metz and Shelby Metz both of Kennebec, SD, RaKel Streitz of Winona, MN, and Tatum Streitz of Mitchell, SD. Preceding him in death were his father; three brothers-in-law, and his father and mother-in-law.

Graveside services will be in the Beach City Cemetery at Beach, ND on Monday, July 30, 2007 at 11:00 a.m.
