Funeral services for Nilah D. Brown, newborn of Roselind Brown and Calvin Bagola will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Thompson, SD with burial in St. Catherine's Catholic Cemetery at Big Bend, SD.  Wake services will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Thompson, SD.

Nilah Diane was born at 12:30 a.m. on July 30, 2022 to Roselind Brown and Calvin Bagola.  She was delivered at home in Fort Thompson weighing 5 lbs and 9 oz and was 19 inches long.  She passed away at Sanford Medical Center in Chamberlain just 6 hours later.

Nilah's family includes her parents Roselind and Calvin; her maternal grandparents Darla Rabbit and Peter Brown; maternal great grandparents Mildred Rabbit and Edmond St. John; her paternal grandparents Sharon and Gordon Bagola; maternal great grandparents Madeline Harrison, Jimmy Felicia, Calvin Bagola, and Cecilia Onihan; her mother's siblings James Rabbit, Chris Rabbit, Paul Rabbit, Loretta Rabbit, Marcus Rabbit, Donald Standing Soldier Jr., LaCosta Standing Soldier, and Darliss Brown; and her father's siblings Tigh Bagola, Shania Bagola, Dillion Bagola, and Diedrie Bagola; and many other relatives too numerous to mention.
