Michael (Mike) D. Roberson, 62, passed away on March 14, 2025, at Sanford Medical Center, surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mike was born February 19, 1963 in San Francisco, CA to Lynn Bartman and L.D. Roberson. He attended Berkeley High School, graduating in 1981. Three years after graduation, Michael enlisted into the US Navy and began his service as a Radioman Third Class until his honorable discharge in 1989. Shortly after, he reenlisted in the U.S. Army as a Petroleum Supply Specialist, serving until 1991.

In 2009, Mike made his home in Chamberlain, SD. Over the years, he held various positions within the community, including roles at the Chamber of Commerce, Pizza Hut, True Value, Chamberlain Food Center, and Buche Foods Oacoma. In 2017, Mike proudly earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Western Governors University. Known for his warm smile and strong work ethic, he left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

A devoted Oakland (Las Vegas) Raiders fan, Mike rarely missed a game highlight. He found joy in competing in pool and dart leagues at the Silver Dollar Bar and never passed up an opportunity for karaoke.

He is survived by his fiancée, Kris Hrdlicka; daughter, Tatiana Roberson; mother, Lynn Bartman; stepdaughter, Aubrei-Llin Borah; the Borah Family and his beloved four-legged companions.
Preceding him in death is his daughter Tahonie Roberson.

A celebration of Mike's life will be held on Saturday, March 22, from 3-7 p.m. at Al's Oasis in the East Room.
