Funeral services for Michael C. "Mike" Champagne, 67, of Chamberlain, SD will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 23, 2026 at the Hickey Funeral Chapel in Chamberlain with visitation to begin one hour prior to the funeral.  Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery at Oacoma, SD.

Michael C. Champagne was born May 26, 1958 at Chamberlain, SD to Clarence and Florine (Sazue) Champagne.  He attended school at St. Joseph's Indian School and Chamberlain High School through the eleventh grade.

Mike lived and worked his entire life in the Chamberlain area.  He was employed for many years at Redi-Mix until his health forced him to retire.

Mike was united in marriage to Lori Dominiack and to that union two children were born Kyle and Heather.  They later divorced.

Mike was a very devoted father and grandpa.

Mike passed away on May 19, 2026 at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD.  Gratefully sharing his life are his son Kyle, granddaughter Annabelle, grandsons Reign and Ivan, sisters Sandy, Tammy, Renee, Carla, and Sherri, brothers Todd and Chuck, and many other friends and relatives.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his daughter Heather, nephew Kori Kubik, and brother Richard.
