Matthew Corwin Shroyer, 42, passed away July 31, 2020, after a battle with cancer.  Matthew was born in Chamberlain, SD on July 12, 1978.

He attended school in Lyman County with elementary in Reliance, middle school in Kennebec, and high school in Presho.  Matt participated in football and basketball in high school.  Matthew was able to continue to enjoy his favorite activity, basketball, by playing at open gyms and joining the city hall league.  Besides playing basketball and buying basketball shoes, Matt enjoyed playing video games with his daughter, Aurora.  He had tried his hand at landscaping, construction, but found his talent as a cook.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Shroyer; daughters, Aurora Wright and Olivia Shroyer; brothers, Marty (Paula) Shroyer and Dooley (Pam) Shroyer; sisters, Simone (Phil Hall) Shroyer and Jaci (Todd) Holzwarth; and special friend, Codi Pomani.

Matt was preceded in death by his best friend, his father, Dan Shroyer; grandparents, Cliff and Viola Shroyer and Duane and Evelyn Parish.

There will be no funeral services held for Matt.
