Funeral services for Marty J. L. LaRoche, 29, of Lower Brule, SD will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 1, 2023 at the Lower Brule Community Center in Lower Brule, SD with burial in the Holy Comforter Episcopal Cemetery at Lower Brule, SD.  Wake services will be 7:00 p.m., Thursday and Friday at the Lower Brule Community Center in Lower Brule, SD.

Marty Jo Louis LaRoche was born in Chamberlain, SD to Elvah Crazy Bull and Lawrence LaRoche on July 9, 1993.   He attended grade school and high school in Lower Brule, SD where he resided all his life.

Marty had a heart of gold, always willing to help anyone at any time.  He loved spending time with his family, friends, and most importantly his three handsome boys Royal Rae, Remy Davis, and Marty Jo Jr. and two beautiful daughters Joa and Robin.

He loved the Las Vegas Raiders, Boston Celtics, listening to his favorite music, playing card games, and eating BIG MAMA'S.  He was smart, caring and would become friends with just about anyone.  Marty Jo is now at peace, something he always tried to find, reunited with his beloved grandmother Phyllis.

Marty passed away on March 25, 2023 at the age of 29 years.  He will be deeply missed by so many.  He is survived by his parents Elvah Crazy Bull LaRoche and Lawrence LaRoche, his children Royal, Remy, Marty, Joa, and Robin; his brothers Lawrence LaRoche Jr., Elmer LaRoche, Chris LaRoche, Latrelle LaRoche, and Sid Walters Jr.; his sisters Juliya Valdez-LaRoche, Skyla LaRoche, Lauren LaRoche, Santanna LaRoche; many niece, nephews, and everyone he loved.

Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents Lavinia Long Turkey and Elmer LaRoche; maternal grandparents Aldena Langdeau and Harvey Langdeau; his sisters Trudy Rae Hawkwing; niece Zarayah Walters; grandmother Phyllis Crazy Bull and all his other loved ones who have gone before him.
