Funeral services for Martina Fleury, 38, of Crow Creek, will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Thompson, SD. Burial will follow at the Presbyterian Cemetery, Crow Creek, SD. Wake services will be at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 and Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Thompson, SD.

Martina Rose Fleury was born to Theresa (Wind) and Richard Fleury on February 7, 1983 in Aberdeen, SD. She made her journey to the Spirit World on April 22, 2021

Martina Rose attended grade school and high school at Crow Creek Tribal schools. She graduated from Crow Creek Alternative School. She enjoyed reading and receiving good grades.

Martina Rose was a very strong and independent person. She was always willing to help others and was a good friend. She loved to laugh and joke and had the brightest smile that could light up the room. She was very caring with the wisest words of advice to share.

In 2004, she met Clayton Grassrope and they had three beautiful children, Caytlin Rose, Chadron Cade, and Chase Chandler. Martina brought them up with loving care. Her children were her heart and her world. She cherished her whole family.

Martina Rose held various jobs throughout her 38 years of life. She worked briefly at the Taco John's in Lynn's Dakotamart. She was a porter at Lode Star Casino and held various housekeeping jobs in Chamberlain. She was a front desk clerk at different periods of time at the Lode Star Motel. Martina always provided for her family.

Martina Rose leaves behind her three children Caytlin Rose, Chadron Cade, and Chase Chandler, her brothers Gary, Craig, Conrad, Preston, and Jaime, her sisters Talisa, Buffy, and Davene, her father Richard Fleury, many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins; too many to mention.

She was preceded in death by her mother Theresa, her younger brother Lindsey, her special aunt Tina, and her grandmother Martha.

It's never goodbye, it's only until we meet again.
