Funeral services for Martin J. Cruz-Navarro, 31, of Fort Thompson, SD will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Thompson, SD with burial in the Greenwood Presbyterian Cemetery at Greenwood, SD. Wake services will be 7:00 p.m., Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Thompson, SD.
Anyone wishing to follow, the procession will leave at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday from the funeral home.
Martin Juan Cruz Navarro was born on January 12, 1992 in American Folk, UT to MariAnn Marie Drappeaux and Martin Cruz Navarro Sr. He was raised in Fort Thompson, SD. Martin graduated from Crow Creek High School in 2012. After high school, he had various jobs in the community.
He loved to cook and could make very good food. He was employed at the Picadilly's C-Store. His favorite thing to do was to be with his kids, nieces and nephews and would take them to the skatepark basketball courts. He loved being out at Big Bend, SD and cutting his boys hair. He loved listening to music and had a good sense of humor . He loved to play for Wokiksuye with his boys and he enjoyed being outside.
Martin entered the Spirit World on November 9, 2023 in his home whom he shared with his sister in Fort Thompson, SD at the age of 31. Gratefully sharing his life are his kids Bentley (Williamette), Myles Juan, Mya LeeAnn, Mavrick David, (Bridget); sisters: Theresa, Dawn, and Thia and Janiyah; sister Maria Delorsotio/ Drea, Devonte, Dom Jr.; He also had many neices and nephews, cousins, uncles, aunties, grandma and grandpa and many family and friends
Preceding him in death were by him parents MariAnn Marie Drappeaux and Martin Cruz-Navarro, Sr.; brothers Cleveland, Frank, and Marvin Jr.; sisters Verlinda, Francine, and Dawn Drappeaux; and grandparents Cleveland and Ethel Fallis, Frank and Louise Drappeaux and Alvin and Diane Fallis.
