Wake services will be Saturday November 28th and Sunday November 29th at 7:00 pm at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Thompson.

Funeral services will be 10:00am Monday November 30, 2020 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Thompson with burial in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Stephan, SD.

Margaret Lynn Wilson was born on December 4, 1978 to Theresa Grass Rope and Merle Wilson in Chamberlain SD.

Margaret made her journey to the spirit world on November 23, 2020 at the young age of 41.

Margaret has been a resident of Fort Thompson most of her life from a young child playing on the hill with her cousins at grandpas house, to attending school in crow creek, to her adult life where she lived while working at the Lodestar Casino as a Players Club Attendant. In 1998 Margaret met her first love, a baby girl named Chelsea Marie who Margaret Loved and cared for as her own. In 2008 Margaret entered a relationship when she met her love Jesse Blue and together three children were born James Merle, Victoria Dawn and Eileena Rose. Family was extremely important to Margaret and she did everything she could to help all those that she loved. Margaret loved playing bingo, listening to music or just laughing with family and friends, but most importantly Margaret enjoyed spending time with her children and her mother. Margaret had been known for her soft spoken voice and even softer heart. If you were a friend to Margaret she treated you as if you were family. Although having some health problems Margaret never let it slow her down or keep her from supporting and being there for family.

Margaret is survived by her mother Theresa Grass Rope and her father Merle Wilson, her brothers Harold and James, her sister Sierra Wilson, her children Chels, J'merle, Vicky, Leena; and cousins who she loved as much as sisters Eileen and Rosita, and cousins she loved as her brothers Conrad and baby Tweet. Proceeding Margaret in death is her maternal grandparents Solomon and Florence and her paternal grandmother Margaret Wilson, her sister Dawn Bad Moccasin, her brother Merle Wilson Jr., seven uncles and one aunt on her mother's side, and 2 uncles on her father's side.
