Funeral services for Lori K. St. John, 63, of Fort Thompson, SD will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 13, 2024 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Thompson, SD with burial in the Lakeview Cemetery at Fort Thompson, SD. Wake services will be 7:00 p.m., Wednesday and 8:00 p.m., Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Thompson, SD.
Lorri Kim St. John was born to Van St. John, Sr. & Melvina (Black Tongue) St. John October 14, 1960
Lorri Kim was the youngest daughter in their family. She was born in Chamberlain, South Dakota. She attended school in Fort Thompson, Crow Creek High School in Stephan, SD and Flandreau Indian School.
Lorri Kim met Jim Skinner from the Standing Rock Reservation in the 1980's. To this union her son William George was born. Here firstborn son became known as "George." Later on she met James Hawk Wing & her other two sons were born: Levi James and Jacob Matthew.
Kimmie lived & worked at Golden Buffalo Casino on Lower Brule side for a time. Upon the passing of James, Lorri Kim & her family moved back to Fort Thompson. She resided here with her family & extended family all the rest of her life.

Lavonne St. John.
Brother: Van Buren, Jr., (Jr. Van), Levi Willis, Sheldon Dean St. John.
·Lorri Kim entered the Kingdom of God in the night hours of September 6th, 2024 at her home here on the Crow Creek Sioux Reservation, Ft. Thompson, SD.
Kimmie enjoyed visiting, she was a good listener, but also had her perspective on issues, and any issue be or small. She was a good relative & friend. She enjoyed her Bingo time & all her Bingo fans were friends
& relatives.
She enjoyed music & dancing. Everyone in contact with Lorri Kim knew her sons were everything to her! A good woman & the best mother to George, Levi & Jake. A famous quote, & there were many. "Why do they (my sons) say don't worry...that's like saying don't breath." With ALL the LOVE she has, Lorri Kim went to GOD now.
Survived by Brothers: Van St. John, Jr. of Stephan, SD, Levi St. John of Ft. Thompson, SD. Sons: Levi Hawk Wing and Jacob Hawk Wing.
Lorri Kim was preceded in death by her Parents: Van & Melvina St. John,
Her son, Wm. George. Siblings: Jacqueline, Estelline, Ann.a Jo, Sheldon
& Madonna St. John. Grand Parents Van St. John & Rose Bird-Keeble, Grandparents: John & Helen Black Tongue.
