Funeral services for Linda Priebe, wife of Joe, 77, of Pukwana will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, March 30, 2018 at the United Church of Christ in Chamberlain with burial in the Pukwana Cemetery at Pukwana.  Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with family present at the Hickey Funeral Chapel in Chamberlain.

Linda Priebe passed away on March 26, 2018 at her home in Pukwana at the age of 77 years.

Linda was born March 15, 1941 to G. Owen and Thelma (Hooper) Housely in Cushing, OK.  She attended school in Cushing where she graduated from Cushing High School.  After high school, Linda attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK and received her accounting degree.

On July 28, 1977 Linda was united in marriage to Joe J. Priebe in Fort Pierre, SD, spending most of their life in the Pukwana area.  Throughout her life, Linda worked in accounting roles at various organizations.

Linda loved doing crossword puzzles and reading.  Her greatest joy was following her son Joe to all of his school activities.

Gratefully sharing her life are her husband Joe of Pukwana, SD; her son Joe and Mandy Priebe of Tea, SD; two children Deborah Swenson of Mitchell, SD and David and Sharmel Olson of Chamberlain, SD; several grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her son Steven; and two brothers Roger and Steve.
