Memorial services for Larry Soulek, 68, of Chamberlain, SD will be 11:00 am Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the Kimball Protestant Parish in Kimball, SD with burial of the ashes in the Kimball City Cemetery at Kimball, SD.  Visitation will begin one hour prior to the services at the church.

Larry Alan Soulek was born, the oldest of six sons, on June 9, 1952 to Melvin and Eileen Soulek at Chamberlain. He attended school in Kimball, SD.  Larry served in the U.S. Air Force and later the Navy.  After his discharge, he enjoyed helping area farmers, worked for Tom Luke Construction, and helped at Chuck Jones Repair.  On April 10, 1981, Larry was united in marriage to Pauline Bravek at Chamberlain.  To this union, a son Melvin and a daughter Lisa were born.   His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Larry passed away peacefully on August 3, 2020 at home in Chamberlain at the age of 68 years.  Gratefully sharing his life are his children Melvin Soulek of Sioux Falls, SD and daughter Lisa (Mike) Farley of Kimball; his grandchildren Evan and Kadence Soulek and Emma, Mayson, and Hannah Farley; brother Dennis and Dale Soulek both of Kimball, Frank Soulek of Mitchell, and Randy Soulek of Rapid City; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers Billy and David.
