Joel James Brouse Jr. "Baby Joel" was born on January 19, 1997 in Rapid City, SD to Wanda (Fields) and Joel Brouse Sr.  He attended school in Rapid City, SD and Lower Brule, SD.  Baby Joel worked various jobs including the Family Dollar, Employment Enterprise, Swingin' Construction and Dyer Construction Company of America where he was an iron worker.  He loved the Green Bay Packers, had a passion for tattoos and music and he loved spending time hanging out with friends. He especially loved spending time with family and loved with everything he had.  He never left without a big hug and an "I love you!".  His infectious smile will forever be missed by all who knew him.

Baby Joel is survived by his parents Wanda Fields of Rapid City, SD and Joel Brouse Sr. of Lower Brule, SD; his special mom "Momma K" Kiara Fire Cloud of Lower Brule, SD; his siblings Justice, Angel, Myah, Aaliyah, Jesse, Jenna, and Kelson; maternal grandparents Wanda and Randy Peacock of Rapid City, SD; paternal grandparents Jim and Jan Brouse of Lower Brule, SD; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends too numerous to mention.

Preceding him in death were his baby brother Romeo Brouse and maternal grandfather Harrison Fields.

Funeral services for Joel J. Brouse Jr., 25, of Lower Brule/Fort Thompson, SD will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the Lower Brule Community Center in Lower Brule, SD with burial in the Holy Comforter Episcopal Cemetery in Lower Brule, SD.  Wake services will be 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Lower Brule Community Center in Lower Brule, SD.
