A prayer service for Jerry C. Waugh, Sr., 77, of Chamberlain will be 7:00 pm Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the Hickey Funeral Chapel in Chamberlain.  Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral chapel.  Graveside services will be Thursday at 10:00 am in the Riverview Cemetery at Chamberlain.

Jerry C. Waugh, Sr., 77, of Chamberlain, SD passed away on August 12, 2018 at Sanford Medical Center in Chamberlain.

Jerry Charles Waugh was born at Chamberlain on November 25, 1940 to Frank and Helera (Melchert) Waugh.  He attended school at Chamberlain.  Jerry was united in marriage to Karen Kiehn and to this union five children were born.

Jerry was employed with Cliff Hickey Construction, Pietz Construction, and later for Merrill Karlen Farms.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Gratefully sharing his life are his children Marty (Penny) Waugh and Monte Waugh both of Chamberlain, SD, Michelle (Julie Ladwig) Waugh and Melinda (Paul Narum) Meyer both of Sioux Falls, SD; three grandchildren Clayton (Kerry), Amanda, and Weston(Shanell); four great grandchildren Franquie, Natalie, Hudson, and Allie; special cousin Denny (Nancy) Hofer of Reliance, SD; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, son Jerry C. Waugh Jr., two brothers Jim and Darrell; and two sisters Norma Hohm and Beverly J. Waugh.
