A Celebration of Life gathering for Jeanie L. Hutmacher-Kenyon, 59, of Chamberlain, SD will be 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 17, 2022 in the Moose Room at the AmericaInn Lodge at Chamberlain.

Jeanie L. Hutmacher passed away on November 8, 2022 at Chamberlain, SD.

Jeanie L. Hutmacher was born October 13, 1963 at Chamberlain to Joseph Louis and Alice Lorraine (Harmon) Hutmacher. She attended school in Chamberlain and graduated from Chamberlain High School.  She attained her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.

Jeanie worked as the City Finance Officer for the City of Chamberlain for several years and as a youth counselor at the Chamberlain Academy, a job which she truly enjoyed.

She made her home in several places including Yuma, Arizona and recently returned home to South Dakota to be near family.

She loved her girls Rasta, George, and Rayne and spent almost all her time with them.  She enjoyed her marathon scrabble game days with Chuck which would turn in to a day of game after game.

Jeanie is survived by her husband Charles "Chuck" Kenyon of Chamberlain, SD; daughter Lindsay (Bobby Schoenfelder) Reuer of Wisconsin; son Chad Christenson of Minnesota; two grandchildren; siblings Debbie (Rich) Billion of Apple Valley MN, Elizabeth (Vic) Twamley of Oacoma, Joseph (Laura) Hutmacher and Casey (Robin) Hutmacher of Oacoma, Mari (Jim) Carroll of Bakersfield, CA; her three pet children Rasta, George, and Rayne; and numerous nieces and nephews, and many cousins.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her brother Gerry Hutmacher.
