Jaxon Alexander Cook was born October 24, 2015 at Rapid City, SD to Kayla Hamer and Mark Cook Jr.

He attended preschool at the YMCA and kindergarten at Valley View Elementary School in Rapid City. He loved to go to Reptile Gardens with his parents and was a farm boy at heart.  He had a love for all animals especially his cat, Kitty Soft Paws and his dog, Flash.

He was learning how to shoot a bow and arrow, how to golf, and Teeball.  He loved going out in the boat and fishing.  He was a bright little boy with lots of energy who loved going on adventures and being outside.

His favorite color was rainbow.

Jaxon passed away on November 25, 2021 at Denver Children's Hospital in Aurora, CO as a result of an automobile accident on October 17, 2021 with his parents.  Gratefully sharing his life are his maternal grandparents Kenny and Diane Hamer of Kennebec, SD; paternal grandparents Betty Wells of Presho, SD and Mark Cook Sr. of Presho, SD; his aunts Lindsey (Beau) Johnson of Presho, SD and Tiffany (David) Sandoval of Las Cruces, NM; his uncle Brady Hamer of Aberdeen, SD; maternal great grandfather Gary Halvorson of Kennebec, SD; cousins Layton and Hank Johnson of Presho, SD, Taylor Cook or Pierre, SD, Kaysea Sandoval of Las Cruces, NM; and several friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents Mark and Kayla, uncle Justin Cook, his maternal great grandparents Joan Halvorson and Burdette and Edna Hamer, and paternal great grandparents Beatrice and Charles Wells, Christina Morris and Pappa..
