Hilda was married in 1946 to Ben Long Crow at St. John's Episcopal Church at Crow Creek and to this union were three sons Alvin, Bernie, and Chauncey and a daughter Rosie.
Ben and Hilda adopted Ivan Medicine Crow in 1971.
Hilda's husband Ben passed away in 1987.
Hilda lived most of her life in the Crow Creek District until March of 1969 when her and Ben plus family moved into the house that she currently lived at the time of her death, house #74.
Hilda was a homemaker most of her life. In her younger years she worked a few years for Frank Cable Land and Cattle Company as a cook and housekeeper in order to help support her family.
After her husband Ben passed away she worked in Fort Thompson for the Green Thumb Program for ten years as a store clerk and running the clothing store in the Golden Age Elderly Center.
