A celebration of Mike Johnson's life will be held on Wednesday, April 11 ^th at 330 pm at the Dakota Milestones day services center.  If Mike touched your life, please join us in celebrating his!

Gregory "Mike" Johnson, 57, of was granted entrance to Heaven on April 2, 2018.

Gregory was born on April 25, 1950 to George and Martha Johnson in Marquette, Michigan.  His family later moved to Virginia and spent several years there before spending the rest of his life in South Dakota.  Gregory lived in Pierre, Yankton, Watertown, and Redfield.  Gregory became a part of the Dakota Milestones family in August, 2014.

Mike loved living in Chamberlain!  He rooted for the Cubs and participated in Special Olympics bowling.  Mike had an infectious smile and you would walk away from a conversation with him feeling like a million bucks…because he would be sure to tell you that he liked you and if you were lucky enough, how pretty you were!

Mike loved his Mountain Dew and his music!  80's bands were his favorite, with AC/DC, Metallica, and Def Leppard topping his list of favorites.  He looked forward to getting new CD's and had a very extensive…and eclectic…collection!  Mike's favorite day of the week was Friday…because he got paid, and he went out to eat!  Mike loved visiting with people and was always willing to pitch in and help out at home.

He is survived by his sister, Linda, and her family.  He was preceded in death by his mom and dad.  Grateful for having shared in Mike's life are the participants and staff at Dakota Milestones.
