Funeral services for Goldie Never Misses A Shot, 57, of Lower Brule, SD will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 3, 2025 at the Lower Brule Community Center in Lower Brule, SD with burial in the Messiah Episcopal Cemetery at Iron Nation, SD.  Wake services will be 7:00 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday at the Lower Brule Community Center in Lower Brule, SD.

Goldie Never Misses A Shot was born to Darlene (Good Buffalo) Charging Whirlwind and James Never Misses A Shot on June 4, 1967 in Rosebud, SD.

Goldie came to Lower Brule during the fourth grade with her mother and stepdad then later went to Flandreau where she graduated high school.  Goldie worked off and on for the Lower Brule Tribe but she worked for Patient Transport for the last six years.  She loved her job because it was one way she could help people.  She had a big heart too, always helping anyone who would ask.  She loved her family and would always be with them.  Her grandkids meant the world to her.  She always loved doing outdoor things with her best friend Everett "lil friend" and Cuz Carrietta, and if she wasn't with one of them, you would find her at a Lower Brule High School game supporting them in basketball or football as she loved sports.  She played every sport she could.

Goldie went on her journey on March 24, 2025 at Sanford Medical Center in Chamberlain, SD.  Gratefully sharing her life are her daughter Deana Never Misses A Shot; two granddaughters Shylee Never Misses A Shot and Dezlynne Long Turkey; a sister Sharon Charging Whirlwind (Rosie and Trea Hawkwing); and many other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were her mother Darlene (Good Buffalo) Charging Whirlwind, father James Never Misses A Shot, stepfather Clifford Charging Whirlwind and three grandchildren.
