Obituary

Funeral services for Glyndon C. Bad Moccasin, 49, of Fort Thompson, SD will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Thompson, SD with burial in Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery at Stephan, SD.  Wake services will be 7:00 p.m., Monday and Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Thompson, SD.

Anyone wishing to follow, the procession will leave the funeral home on Monday at 3:00 pm.

Glyndon Cyril Bad Moccasin was born October 10th,1976 to Bernard Bad Moccasin Sr and Ethelreda Ross in Chamberlain, SD.

Glyndon made his journey to the spirit world on March 18th, 2026 at the age of 50.

Glyndon spent most of his life in Fort Thompson, SD working various jobs for the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe and The Lode Star Casino.

Glyndon met the love of his life Dawn Denise Drapeau and was united in marriage in 1996 from this marriage were 2 children-Devona & Isiah Bad Moccasin and 3 stepchildren-Sterling & Santana & Tessa Drapeau.

Glyndon was locally known as "G-Badd" around the Fort Thompson area. Anyone who knows Glyndon knows he would greet you with a smiling face and warm hug or handshake. Glyndon was always smiling and laughing and cracking jokes with anyone who was beside or with him. Glyndon was the most caring, loving, hilarious funny guy.

He loved to hang out with friends and family. He loved that he was a grandfather to only grandson Kahlil. Although the years he became sick, he managed to keep going and being the hilarious funny guy he was.

Glyndon passed on from complications from diabetes and heart problems.

Glyndon is survived by his daughter Devona Bad Moccasin and son Isiah Bad Moccasin, brothers Bernard Jr and Rob Bad Moccasin. Proceeding Glyndon in death are his maternal grandparents Flavia Obago and Henry Ross and Paternal grandparents Abel and Edith Bad Moccasin, his parents Bernard Bad Moccasin Sr and Ethelreda Ross, a brother Raynard Bad Moccasin, 2 sisters Renee Bad Moccasin and Lisa Ross, his love of life/Wife Dawn Denise Drapeau-Bad Moccasin.
