May 12, 1942 - September 29, 2025

Glen A. Paulson passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025 in Chamberlain, South Dakota.

Glen was born May 12, 1942 in Canton, SD to Norris M. Paulson and Leona V. Caton. Glen had one brother and two sisters. Glen grew up in Pierre, SD and graduated from Riggs High School in 1960. Glen attended Northern State College studying Business and was a member of the Rodeo Club. He was in the National Guard, Pierre Unit for 4 years. Glen married Cheryl Moulton September 2, 1967.

Glen and Cheryl moved to Rapid City, SD in 1969. Glen was a traveling Bank Examiner. Their son, Greg Paulson was born in 1972 shortly after the Rapid City Flood. The family lived in Whitewood, SD for 8 years before moving to Oacoma, SD in June 1980. While in Oacoma, Glen was on the town board, prepared taxes, and did bookkeeping work.

Glen is survived by his wife Cheryl Paulson, son Greg (wife Tiffany) Paulson, granddaughter Abigail Paulson of Henderson, NV, grandson Ashton Paulson of Vermillion, SD his brother Steve Paulson of Key Stone, SD and his sister Merrilee Hooser of Sioux Falls, SD.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Norris and Leona and his sister Noreen Holst.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Oacoma Community Center on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 12:00 pm - 3:00pm.
