Funeral services for Elizabeth M. "Liz" Pomani-Estes, 63, of Fort Thompson, SD will be 12:00 p.m. (noon), Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at the Crow Creek Tribal Hall Gymnasium in Fort Thompson, SD.  Wake services will be 7:00 p.m., Sunday and Monday at the Crow Creek Tribal Hall Gymnasium in Fort Thompson, SD.

Anyone wishing to follow, the procession will leave from funeral home on Sunday at 12:00 p.m. (NOON)

Elizabeth Marie Pomani

November 4, 1961-May 28, 2025

Elizabeth Marie Pomani was born in Chamberlain, SD to Marilyn J. Medicine Crow and Delbert E. Pomani Sr.  Elizabeth grew up and attended school at Crow Creek. She was a known fancy dancer on the pow wow trail with her family. Liz loved to travel and had been to Las Vegas, Massachusetts, Georgia, California and Wisconsin. Liz loved her music and loved to party with all of her family and friends, most importantly she loved all her grandchildren. Everybody knew Liz for her good food and yummy frybread.

She is with her loved ones now, her mother Marilyn June Medicine Crow, father Delbert Sr, brother Delbert Jr, sisters Mary Jane Medicine Crow, Helen Pomani and her oldest son Daniel.

Liz passed away on May 28, 2025 in California.  She is survived by her sisters Linda Pomani, Deanna Pomani, Romona Hawkins, brothers Frank Pomani, and Glenn Pomani. Her children Danielle, Donald, Jesslyn, Job, and Wyatt, many Grandchildren and great grandchildren too many to name.

She will be missed by all who love her.
