Funeral services for Dustin G. Walking Bull, 36, of Fort Thompson, SD will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2021 at the Fort Thompson Community Center in Fort Thompson, SD with burial in the Christ Episcopal Cemetery at Fort Thompson, SD. Wake services will be Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the Fort Thompson Community Center in Fort Thompson, SD.
Dustin George "DeeBull" Walking Bull was born May 26, 1985 to Deborah (Comes Flying) Walking Bull and Arnold Roy Walking Bull Sr. at Chamberlain, SD. He attended school at St. Joseph's Indian School graduating from the eighth grade in 1999, Flandreau Indian School and later obtaining his GED. Dustin has three children, Aden Paul Rabbit in 2003, Aaliyah Walking Bull in 2006, and his youngest Kenyan Walking Bull in 2014.
Dustin worked at Lode Star Casino at Fort Thompson, in 2006 at Cedar Shore in Chamberlain, SD, and later Pet Performance in Mitchell, SD. He worked various production and construction jobs throughout the state.
Dustin loved to play basketball. He liked the Kansas City Chiefs Football Team and the Duke Blue Devils. He enjoyed watching movies, playing horseshoes, going to the casino, play bingo and visiting with his family and friends. He loved spending time with his niece "DD Jones" Bull. He looked up to his special uncle Elroy Walking Bull as they were very close. His main hobby was fishing with this family and friends. He loved to go swimming.
Dustin would always end up in the water himself no matter where he was fishing at. He loved to drive his various cars he had throughout the years. Not to mention his sound systems he had in them.
DeeBull was a loving, caring, person and was willing to help anyone in need. He was always visiting and joking around with people and was eager to meet new people.
He had a nickname given to him "Little Big Head" after his dad Arnold Bull "Big Head". Dustin's humor and laughing will be truly missed by everyone.
Dustin lived comfortably his last few years with his fiancé, "love of his life", Caroline Kennedy and family in Mitchell, SD where he was happy, content, and surrounded by love and always cared for.
Dustin made his journey to the Spirit World on October 28, 2021 at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD at the age of 36 years. Gratefully sharing his life are his fiancé Caroline Kennedy and family of Mitchell, SD; his children who he loved very much Aden Paul Rabbit of Fort Thompson, SD, Aaliyah Walking Bull of Fort Thompson, SD, and Kenyan Carter Walking Bull of Mitchell, SD; three brothers Arnold Roy Walking Bull Jr. of Fort Thompson, SD, Noren Walking Bull of Omaha, NE, and Farlan Comes Flying of Fort Thompson, SD; two sisters Chastity Walking Bull of Omaha, NE and Mary Rose Walking Bull of Fort Thompson, SD; special niece Deborah Denise Walking Bull of Fort Thompson, SD; his Hunka Mother Marilyn Fallis of Fort Thompson, SD; his godmother, his uncles Elroy Walking Bull, Wes and Travis Fire Cloud, Duane Carpenter; his aunts Wanda Gourneau,; his godson Legacy Walking Bull; his cousin Johnny Walking Bull and Jr. Touche; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, friends he called "Bros" and blood relatives too numerous to mention.
Preceding him in death were his parents Deb Walking Bull and Arnold Walking Bull; his baby sister Arnelle "Nellie" Walking Bull; uncles Llewelyn Comes Flying, Armand Comes Flying Jr., Travis L. Comes Flying, Fabian D. Comes Flying, Mike and Wayne Touche; aunt Faithanne Drapeau; cousins Montana Walking Bull, Gary "Dash" Walking Bull, and his maternal and paternal grandparents Mary Walking Bull, Oscar His Law, Jozay and Delores Comes Flying; grandmother Ruth Walking Bull.
