Dustin Stephen Thomas passed away on November 1, 2026.

Dustin was born on February 25, 1982, in Yankton, South Dakota, to Stephen Thomas and Julie Thomas (Jueden). He spent most of his life in Chamberlain, where he built lifelong friendships and became known for his willingness to help anyone in need, no matter the time of day.

Dustin's love for his children, family, and friends was the center of his life. He had a big heart and loved deeply. He enjoyed cooking, tinkering with just about anything, and fixing things. If something was missing, chances were Dustin had it because he was "fixing" it. His kindness, humor, generosity, and caring nature touched the lives of many.

Family meant everything to Dustin. He cherished the time he spent with those he loved and maintained friendships that stretched far beyond his hometown. His willingness to lend a helping hand and his ability to make people laugh will be remembered by all who knew him.

Dustin is survived by his beloved children, Eliza, Julia, Charles, and baby Nelda; his mother, Julie Thomas (Jueden); his siblings, Jeremy (Melissa), Toad, and Erica (Kyle); along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and countless friends.

His father, Stephen Thomas; his grandparents, Doris Thomas, Lowell Thomas, and Marvin Jueden preceded him in death.

Dustin's memory will live on through the love he shared, the lives he touched, and the countless acts of kindness he showed throughout his life. His family and friends will remember his generous spirit, his knack for fixing things, and the unconditional love he gave so freely.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

"Those we love don't go away; they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and very dear."
