A Open House Celebration of Life for Carroll and Dorothy will be held on June 6, 2021, from 2-4 p.m. at The Green Palace Event Barn, 24655 - 354th Ave., Pukwana, SD.

Dorothy Helen Priebe, 78, of Pukwana passed away on January 1 st , 2021 at the Aurora Brule Nursing Home in White Lake, SD.

Dorothy was born on January 5 th , 1942 in Kimball, SD to Leo and Lillian (Geppert) Blasius. She attended school in Kimball, SD.

Dorothy was united in marriage to Carroll Priebe on September 24 th , 1958. Dorothy worked alongside her husband in their business, Carroll Priebe Construction, for many years. She later worked and then retired from Vet's Whoa N' Go. After retiring, she returned to work at the Cenex Gas Station, because she missed seeing people.

Some of Dorothy's hobbies included playing cards (especially with her siblings), bowling, sewing, gardening, and playing dominoes.  She will always be remembered for her easy infectious laugh.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, Carroll Priebe, sons: Cliff Priebe, Jeff (Karla) Priebe, daughter Rita (Jim) Holter, grandchildren: Eugene Priebe, Bradley Priebe, Ethan Holter and Amelia Holter, siblings: Irene Mines, Bob (Loretta) Blasius, Doris (Ed) Klose, Marie Pazour, Ruth Thomas, Mike (Nancy) Blasius, Chuck (Dayle) Blasius, sisters-in-law: Gayle Blasius, Marcheta Anderson, Aileen Priebe and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceding her in death are her son Gene Priebe, parents: Leo and Lillian Blasius, sister Peggy (Larry) Gagner, brothers: Donnie Blasius, and Larry Blasius, brothers-in-law: Jim Picek, Delmer Mines, Chester Pazour, Dwayne Thomas, Arnold (Grace) Priebe, William (Margueriete) Priebe, Dale Anderson, Lloyd Priebe, sisters-in-law: Wilma (Donald) Fisher, Beulah Larson, Cleota (Duane) Sly, Irene (George) Zastrow, and Laura Priebe.
