Funeral services for Dorothy A. Houska, 82, of Pukwana, SD will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at the Hickey Funeral Chapel in Chamberlain with burial in the Riverview Cemetery at Chamberlain.  Visitation will begin Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at the Hickey Funeral Chapel in Chamberlain, SD.

Dorothy Ann Rohrback was born May 29 ^, 1939 at Reliance, SD to Carl and Pearl (Schaefer) Rohrback.  She attended country school in Lyman County and graduated from Reliance High School in Reliance.

On February 6, 1960, Dorothy was united in marriage to Wayne "Buddy" Houska.  To this union, three children were born Carmen, Kevin, Roxanne.

Dorothy was a great cook and baker.  She always loved gardening with Buddy all the years of their marriage.  Dorothy adored all of her family.

Dorothy passed away on November 26, 2021 at the Aurora Brule Nursing Home in White Lake, SD.  Gratefully sharing her life are her children Carmen (Tim) Huffman of Kadoka, SD, Kevin (Paulette) Houska of Pukwana, SD and Roxanne Houska of Pukwana, SD; five grandchildren Curtis (Casey) Huffman, Keith (Lindsay) Huffman, Brandon (Rebecca) Houska, Jared Houska, and Trevor Houska; four great grandchildren Ariella, Abbi, Corbin, and Camdyn Huffman; sister-in-law Sally Rohrback and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her husband Buddy, parents, and brother Leo "Bill" Rohrback.
