Funeral services for Dedria D. "Dede" Bad Horse, 57, of Lower Brule, SD will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 21, 2022 at the Lower Brule Community Center in Lower Brule, SD with burial in the Lower Brule Baptist Fellowship Cemetery at Lower Brule, SD.  Wake services will be 7:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Lower Brule Community Center in Lower Brule, SD.

Dedria Dawn Bad Horse was born June 3, 1965 to Carolyn (Bad Horse) High Elk at the Community Bailey Hospital in Chamberlain, SD.  She attended school in Lower Brule and went on to Clearfield Job Corps for autobody mechanics.  Dede also took up the trade of cabinetry.

Dede was blessed with two children: Trent and Trina.  Her pride and joy were her grandchildren Chris, Kaylee, Bryson, Robert, and Riley.

Dede lived a simple life with her cat, Baby, in her home in Lower Brule.  She enjoyed visiting with family and friends having her favorite beverages and watching her favorite football team the Kansas City Chiefs.

Dede journeyed into the Spirit World on November 15, 2022 at Sioux Falls, SD at the age of 57 years.  She is survived by her mother Carolyn of Lower Brule, her children Trent Bad Horse of Pierre, SD and Trina Bad Horse of California; five grandchildren; two sisters Della Bad Horse and Krista Bad Horse of Sioux Falls, SD; three brothers Seth Bad Horse and Jerard Bad Horse both of Lower Brule, SD, and Gary Bad Horse of Pierre, SD; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family.

Preceding her in death were her Grandma Eva Long Turkey, Aunt Ellen Wright, along with many other relatives and friends.
