David Walter Hart was born on January 6th, 1941 in Sidney, Montana. When David was five years old his family move to Dalles, Oregon. It was in Oregon that Dave worked on the racetrack and developed a love for horse racing. As a teenager David was small enough to be a jockey as he got older he trained race horses, and owned racehorses of his own.

David was the traveler of the family, he visited many places and finally settled in Chamberlain, South Dakota.

On June 3, 2018 David passed away. Dave left behind six brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews.

Our family would like to Thank the community of Chamberlain for the great care that he received there. Thank you also to the Chamberlain Police Department, and the whole community for your kindness and the time you took to help our family put our Brother, and uncle to rest.

Graveside Service will be held Friday June, 15th at 1:00 pm at the Riverview Cemetery.
